The W.M. Lemmon Deaver retractor is a manually operated surgical retractor designed to hold tissue aside and help maintain an exposed working area during open procedures. Its 15 1/2-inch overall length provides extended reach, while the 9 1/4-inch-long by 2-inch-wide blade supports broad retraction along the instrument’s working surface. A grip handle allows the instrument to be positioned and controlled by hand during use.
