Straight Osteotome Design for Controlled Handling
The Sheehan osteotome is a hand-held instrument intended for osteotome work where a straight profile and defined 8.0mm width support direct, controlled application. Measuring 6 1/4 inches overall, it provides a practical format for positioning and maneuvering during instrument handling. Its hexagonal handle offers a distinct gripping surface that can help maintain orientation while the instrument is guided by hand. The straight configuration keeps the working direction clear and predictable, making this osteotome suitable for workflows that call for a consistent profile and repeatable handling technique.
Use Cases
- Use for osteotome work requiring a straight instrument profile and 8mm working width.
- Select when a 6 1/4-inch instrument length suits the planned handling approach.
- Use the hexagonal handle to maintain a defined grip and instrument orientation during manual manipulation.
- Incorporate into workflows that require a clearly dimensioned osteotome for consistent instrument selection.
